They not only had painting demonstrations but also the more experienced Limners were on hand to guide newer miniaturists. This upheld the status of the Society of Limners as a teaching society and had been requested by some members. The Sales Table was also back with useful items for sale at attractive prices.
The rates for the two-night Painting Weekend were £220. They were for full board in their own room. The rates also applied to painters sharing a double room (no twin-bedded rooms are available). A lower rate applied for a second person sharing a room with a painter but this person was not to take part in the Painting Weekend itself. There was a rate for daytime attendance only, including all meals except breakfasts and Sunday dinner.
There was a deposit of £50 per person (non refundable) to secure a place. The balance for the 2 nights stay was paid later.
Places were allocated on a first come, first served basis.
